My Computers

I currently own two computers. Here are their specs:

• Lenovo IdeaPad 3 - i3-10110u, 8GB 2666mhz DDR4, and a 256gb SSD

• Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 Tiny - i3-4130t, 8GB 1666mhz DDR3, and a 128gb SSD


In the future

In the future, I hope to upgrade my computers, specifically my IdeaPad. The goal is to upgrade the screen to 1080p, the RAM to 36GB, and the battery to 45 watt-hours. In all, it should cost me around $300. Kinda overkill for a budget oriented laptop, but it'd feel wasteful to just buy a new one and throw my old one out. I was initially considering to upgrade the motherboard on the IdeaPad to one with an i5 and a GeForce graphics chip, but honestly the i3 and UHD 620 graphics are good enough for me. I'm saving up to buy a new desktop workstation this summer, too. It'll probably have a midrange Alder Lake Xeon-W CPU, an RTX A4000 GPU, and 32GB of RAM.

Other gadgets

Here are some other gadgets and gizmos I own.

• Casio G-Shock DW5600. I initially owned an F-91W and wore it for several years, but as time went on I found it too flimsy for me to trust. So, I switched to this tank of a watch. I really like the EL backlight.

• Casio FX-9750GII. Yes, I really like Casio products. It's my preferred graphing calculator (I have some TIs as well) and I've been needing to upgrade the firmware on it to the one used on the FX-9860. I'd recommend it as it's very cheap, around $25 on eBay if you can get a good deal.
